Arrival time

will be 45 minutes before the start of the first set.

Transport costs

, for distances exceeding 20 miles from the musician's home address (RG76JY), are calculated from the Musician's Union guidance of 56 pence per mile and £11.25 per hour.

Liability

The Musician is insured personally in respect of legal liability that may arise following injury or damage to members of the public. The limit of indemnity is £10m.

Services

The Musician shall ensure the correct functioning of their equipment throughout the duration of their performance.

Conditions

• It is agreed that the fee for the Engagement listed above shall be payable seven days prior to the performance of such Engagement.
• The Hirer and the Musician agree that the equipment and instruments of the Musician are not available for use by any other person, except by specific permission of the Musician.
• The Hirer shall ensure a safe supply of electricity and the security of the Musician and his property at the venue.

Deposit

A nonrefundable deposit of 30% excluding transport cost is to be paid upon signing the contract.

Equipment

The Musician shall provide the following:

• Shure GLXD wireless mic system
• Shure PSM 300 premium IEM system
• Boss VE22 effects unit
• P. Mauriat Venus Alto saxophone

PA system is not included

The Hirer shall ensure the availability of a PA system as well as the following:

• Input for the Musician's mic to PA system / DJ decks
• Output from PA system to the Musician's IEM
• 13A UK plug socket

The Hirer may extend the performance beyond the contracted time at a rate of 1.5 times the contracted rate for up to one hour if agreed upon by the Musician.

This Agreement may not be modified or cancelled except by mutual consent, in writing signed by both parties.

Cancellation

• 50% of the Total fee must be paid in the event of a cancellation enacted by the Hirer within 28 days of the Start time.
• 100% of the Total fee must be paid in the event of a cancellation enacted by the Hirer within 14 days of the Start time.

Any payments made will be fully refunded in the unlikely event that the Musician is unable to perform.
